Friends don’t lie: Kinfolklore is back! Over the last year, we’ve been away, but we never stopped watching, reading, and listening to our favorite stories. While life was, er… life-ing, we’ve missed this community so much. Most of all, we missed talking about dragons, daemons, firebenders, and all the worlds that make us believe in magic again.

If you’re new here: welcome! Kinfolklore is a podcast hosted by cousins Andrea and Paul, where we dive into the fantasy and sci-fi stories we love. From House of the Dragon to Avatar: The Last Airbender, we explore how these worlds reflect our own.

So what’s next for Kinfolklore? We’ve been working hard to prepare for the conclusion of a story we’ve been following for the last nine years. That preparation has taken us back to Hawkins, Indiana, where nothing is quite what it seems; and we want you to come along for the ride.

Starting the week of October 27, we’ll be dropping new episodes each week, leading up to the premiere of Season 5, as we rewatch and recap Stranger Things from the very beginning, staring from The Vanishing of Will Byers to The Piggyback, where our favorite psychic teen, Eleven, faces off against Vecna.

Join us for the highs, the heartbreaks, and the heroic chaos as we return to the Upside Down one last time for the final battle between Vecna and the gang.

Rewatching Stranger Things has reminded us why we started this podcast in the first place: to find the magic in storytelling, the joy in community, and the comfort in revisiting the worlds that raised us.
